NetZero is easy to install, easy to get going, but the problem is to KEEP it going. I've had difficulties connecting in inclement weather, and moreover had difficulties connecting for seemingly no reason at all. (One computer flat out stopped connecting to it.) If you're a casual web-surfer, that stays on for maybe an hour, two at most, NetZero is right up your alley. However, if you're into online gaming or anything that involves an extended period of time online, don't bother downloading because the server automatically boots you every 3-4 hours and isn't worth the hassle. |
