was set at 56k (what the router was using by default). While I hope to eventually get my dad on broadband, I've already improved things for him with this small LAN (behind a dial-up modem). Now, there is no longer any need for my dad and his wife to "fight" over which computer has the "dial-up" connection (as they can both share the connection at the same time).
